Now You Can Instantly Issue an ERC20 Token With Your Onchain LLC Using OtoCo
The token factory: We added token issuance to our otoco.io company assembler
Last month we added Wyoming to our otoco.io company assembler. Since, we assembled over 80 instant Delaware and Wyoming LLCs on the Ethereum blockchain, despite very high gas fees throughout the period.
We now added an ERC20 token factory to our company assembly line that enables users to instantly create a token and issue it with their real-world entity.
Users can link their token to Membership of their LLC or give it any legal content they wish. Otonomos itself was one of the first users with a SAFTE token to be sold in a private offering to our existing clients from early October and we have seen more SAFTE issuers since, such as finance.vote.
Also, users can now claim an otoco.eth subdomain, making it easy to label the wallets that hold their entities by simply using their chosen ENS names!

Revisiting Voltaire
They don't make pamphleteers like these anymore.
Often reviled and revered in equal measure, we revisited some of Voltaire’s original works and rediscovered a steadfast advocate for free speech and tolerance.
Voltaire’s withering criticism of the bigotry, authoritarianism and dogma of 18th century France is of all times. Here are some of his best quotes:
- If you want to know who controls you, look at who you are not allowed to criticize.
- The more often a stupidity is repeated, the more it gets the appearance of wisdom.
- So long as the people do not care to exercise their freedom, those who wish to tyrannize will do so; for tyrants are active and ardent, and will devote themselves in the name of any number of gods, religious and otherwise, to put shackles upon sleeping men.
- It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere.
- The right to free speech is more important than the content of the speech.
